At the Center for Gender Diversity, we are responsible for several university-wide courses, including Gender Studies (for second-year students), Gender Studies taught in English, Introduction to Gender Studies offered as part of the compulsory first-year course Learning at University, and first-year foundational seminars.

These courses aim to enable students to:
(1) understand the fundamental concepts of gender studies and deepen their knowledge of a wide range of gender-related issues in Japanese and global societies;
(2) develop the ability to view issues from diverse perspectives and to translate this understanding into actions that promote gender equality; and
(3) cultivate the skills to independently research gender issues and communicate their findings effectively, both in written and oral forms.
